LitmanOne is a beatmaker, producer and vinyl collector from cologne, Germany. He get connected with Hip Hop in the 90s and started with freestyling, writing verses and recording first tracks. Beginning of the 00’s years he got a copy of propellerhead reason and made his first steps in the producer field. Influenced by the golden era boom bap sound he produced tracks for his back then crew OMF and improved his skills step by step. By studying all kind of music genres and digging for new samples he further developed his own sound over the years. In this context he realized that reading books about music production, watching tutorials, listening to records and digging in dusty record boxes is part of the producer game just like programming drums and chopping samples. Today his beats are characterized by a jazzy note, relaxed vibe but always straight hip hop with knocking drums and funky bass lines.

LitmanOne is part of the rulerz inc producer team and collabed with artist like Negative Lee Nyce, the Rip Mobb, Mr. Ripley, Vitality MC and FOODie. Over the last years he released several beat tapes and remixes on his bandcamp-site litman.bandcamp.com.
His weapons of choice are propellerhead reason 10, a akai mpd 32 midi controller, a Roland PC160 Midi keyboard, a Korg MicroX and a technics 1210 mk2.
