POLAR is a beat creator born in Chilean Patagonia who since 2001 has been exploring the possibilities of experimental hip hop and turntablism under that pseudonym. Founding member of the tape label and collective ALPHA EXPERIMENTAL BREAKS, he has published more than 30 works on different labels around the world and actively participated in the dissemination of the musical production of instrumental hip hop in its Radio programs on the Canadian station LA FACE B. POLAR's musical production is characterized by the constant search for rare and exclusive vinyl records for its collection of samples and the exclusive use of hardware in his musical creation. Currently he continues to collaborate with different artists and actively produce tape editions for them. This work that he presents today exclusively for Beat Tape Co-Op was produced in its entirety with an SP555 during the 2020.
